In Mixer, you can add a mask to a layer. A Mask is a greyscale image, which defines which areas of a layer are visible and which areas are hidden. These masks can enable a procedural workflow for even more control over your Mix. This section contains information on each type of mask available.
You’ll find buttons to add the different masks available in Mixer at the bottom of the layer’s panel.
You can also add a Mask to a layer by right-clicking on a layer and selecting from the masking options available.
Here are the three types of masks supported by Mixer.
